Davido, Yemi Alade, AKA, And Diamond Platnumz Will Represent Africa At The 2015 MTV Europe Awards

South African rapper AKA, Nigerian musicians
Davido and Yemi Alade along with Tanzanian Diamond Platnumz were all
nominated to the 2015 MTV Europe Awards.

Davido, Yemi Alade and Diamond Platnumz will compete for the Best
African Act category that Kenyan group Sauti Sol took home last year.
Without any surprise, all nominees were winners at the MAMA 2015 Awards
that took place earlier this year in Durban, South Africa. AKA won a
prize for a collaboration with Burna Boy, Da LES & JR. Davido took
home the Best Male Artist award. Yemi Alade won the Best Female Artist
award, and Tanzanian Diamond Platnumz received a prize for playing in
the Best Live Act.
